In 1993 this ruined house was assigned to us by the ARS Lisbon.

Due to the epidemic extent, the solution for aids orphanhood problem has been a growing reality ever since, being therefore the major concern of our field of action. This is how we try to soften the psycho-social effects of being an aids orphan: we take the responsibility of helping those children to grow in a well-balanced and stable way.

For all these reasons, we undertook a tough and hard work for 5 years, trying to persuade people in general as well as enterprises that this house had to be rebuilded in order to become a home for those children nobody wanted.

On the 2nd September 1998 our children’s house was inaugurated.

During the past 9 years, the braveness of these so small children that fight like big ones daily, has made this “House full of Sun”!

Or the time being the house is full up. There are children in waiting list all over the country.
